Online communication It goes without saying that brands must engage with consumers, but sellers also need to consider how often they send messages and through what medium. When asked, “What makes you most likely to stop interacting with a brand during the pandemic , ” consumers’ top reason for abandoning communication was receiving messages from brands too frequently , followed by receiving political content and cold messages.
When asked, " How has the way you read emails from brands changed during the pandemic? ", about a third of respondents ( 35.64%) said they were less likely to read emails from brands, and only 9.36% said they would often read emails from brands. When asked , “What kind of messages do you want to receive?” consumers prefer content that is quick to read and states only the facts, followed by messages that are easy to open and send quickly. Under the influence of the epidemic, consumers are doing more online shopping, which has also put higher demands on online sellers.
