What is Inpost? Inpost Review, Features

Founded in 2006 in Poland, where 2/3 of online shoppers use lockers, InPost is the only end-to-end parcel locker provider in Europe. In the UK, lockers are strategically located in urban areas where people work, shop and play.

About InPost

  • In order to meet the fast-growing e-commerce market, InPost has launched a new express delivery service in Poland to supplement its postal express and parcel locker businesses. InPost said it will provide express delivery services to both individual and corporate customers. Currently, international parcel companies and Polish Post dominate the B2B and B2C sectors respectively.
  • InPost said that entering the express delivery market will enable the company to achieve dynamic development in the field of e-commerce. Poland's total online sales are expected to be PLN 27 billion per year, generating about 155 million parcels with a parcel value of PLN 4.4 billion. InPost said that together with the InPost parcel locker network and 8,300 InPost customer service points, the new express delivery service will make InPost the only company in Poland that can provide comprehensive and complementary domestic and international logistics services.

Advantages

  • Eliminate the waiting, avoid delivery and parcel queues, and encourage sustainable shopping behaviours.
  • Meeting the challenges of increasing package volumes and helping retailers and carriers reduce costs.
  • Reduce the impact of package delivery on climate change, toxic emissions, traffic congestion and road hazards.
