On January 30, 2024, the Brand Overseas Practice Exchange Conference co-organized by the Yuegang Sub-district Office of Nanshan District and Yien.com came to a successful conclusion.
The main theme of this exchange meeting was the cold start strategy for high-tech product brands going overseas. The keynote speaker was Ouyang Jingjing , a cross-border veteran with 15 years of practical experience in going overseas and the current general manager of Enen Overseas Delivery Center.
After the exchange meeting began, Ouyang Jingjing first had a brief interaction with the guests present, learned about the overseas development of the participating companies, and found that about half of the companies had overseas development experience.
In order to allow the guests to have a more intuitive understanding of the current overseas situation, Ouyang Jingjing demonstrated the scale and penetration rate of global e-commerce retail from 2016 to 2026, and listed the best overseas brands in various industries one by one. Among the top 50 emerging overseas brands , nearly half are from Shenzhen, fully demonstrating Shenzhen’s strong atmosphere of going overseas and innovation.
At present, Shenzhen has become a gathering place for domestic brands to go overseas. As a city of innovation, Shenzhen has never lacked high-tech companies, and these companies will be the main force for Chinese brands to go overseas in the future.
CREALITY, the overseas brand of Shenzhen Chuangxiang 3D Technology Co., Ltd., focuses on 3D printer products. In the Meiya BS TOP50 list of "3D Printers" category, 21 products of CREALITY are on the list, accounting for nearly half.
Xihao, a seller that launched its overseas business in 2018 with a mid-to-high-end positioning and spent three years expanding its business to global sites, stood out from a group of veteran sellers and became the top seller in the Amazon chair category. On Amazon, Xihao's annual sales increased from 8 million yuan in 2018 to 360 million yuan in 2021 , with an annual sales growth rate that increased linearly.
The pet grooming device produced by Neakasa , a brand under Shenzhen Jihai Technology, has accumulated over 12,000 reviews on Amazon, with an overall rating of 4.6 points and 79% of the reviews being five-star.
Momcozy was founded in 2017 and is affiliated to Shenzhen Root Innovation Technology Co., Ltd. As a brand focusing on maternal and infant products, Momcozy initially gained a large number of Western mothers with its popular product - wearable breast pump. Shenzhen technology company Timekettle has cleverly entered the smart headset market through the AI smart translation market segment. In 2018, the company received millions of angel round financing. In the same year, the simultaneous translation headset WT2 Plus was officially mass-produced. It is in the leading position in the industry in communication, voice and other technologies, has obtained international patents, and has become the top seller in the category on Amazon in the United States.
These Shenzhen technology companies going global have laid the foundation for Chinese brands to go global. I believe that in the future there will be more outstanding technology companies that will win their own market share overseas. |
