A Pinterest spokesperson said that by inserting Amazon's product advertisements, the platform will attract more brands and users interested in shopping, and can provide existing users with a better shopping experience.
In addition, Pinterest’s CEO also shared the news on LinkedIn: “We are excited about this partnership because it will not only further boost our advertising business, but also increase user stickiness on the platform. Our goal is to enable every post in the future to bring goods.”
According to foreign media reports, when users click on Amazon ads on Pinterest, they will be directly taken to the Amazon platform for conversion. This feature is expected to be officially launched in the second half of this year.
