Attention! Amazon seller feedback: Cannot ship using USPS

Attention! Amazon seller feedback: Cannot ship using USPS

Yesterday, the editor learned from the Amazon official seller forum that some sellers reported problems with Amazon's shipments.

The seller amazon.sellerusa said that they are a FBM (fulfillment by yourself) seller, and purchased transportation through Amazon Buy Shipping, using USPS First Class logistics. Recently, amazon.sellerusa found that there was no USPS First Class option when shipping, and could only choose the expensive expedited option.

Amazon Seller USA stressed that even if buyers choose free standard shipping, they still cannot use USPS First Class. Currently, sellers are forced to choose to use Priority and UPS for delivery. Amazon Seller USA then posted its own questions on the Seller Center, hoping to get everyone's advice and help.

Seller JwsMarket believes that the main reason for not being able to use USPS logistics for delivery is that USPS announced at the beginning of last month that it would begin to postpone first-class deliveries, so Amazon does not believe that USPS First Class will deliver in time. Therefore, sellers may need to adjust the delivery template to add one day or more to the affected areas.

A large number of sellers have said that they have encountered similar situations and expressed their confusion about Amazon's practice of secretly closing some logistics options.

Seller A: Yes, I have the same issue. USPS First Class is no longer allowed for 2 of 3 orders. But we set up shipping automation and specifically selected USPS First Class, so shouldn’t this be the delivery time Amazon is showing to customers?

Seller B: I had the same issue this weekend. However, I use Amazon’s shipping transit time automation, so shouldn’t they factor all of this into the formula so that they extend the shipping time to match the first class I offer?

Seller another_amazon_selle said that solving this problem requires sellers to change the processing time in the listing. If the default value set by the seller is 2 days, change it to 4 days or something else. Sellers must ensure that there is a longer time to ship the items and that USPS will be able to deliver them in time before Amazon will allow sellers to ship using USPS. another_amazon_selle emphasized that he always uses 6 days processing.

The buyer's consumption experience has always been a top priority for Amazon. As the peak season approaches, in order to completely solve the instability caused by logistics, Amazon has closed some logistics options. The editor hereby reminds all sellers to always observe the logistics information and make changes in time to avoid unnecessary losses.
