Shopify and MailChimp Partner to Help Merchants Boost Holiday Sales

Compared with the built-in traffic of the Amazon platform, traffic diversion is a very difficult problem for many independent website sellers. Many sellers have invested a lot of money in traffic diversion, but the effect of traffic diversion is very average.

Recently, Shopify announced that it has partnered with MailChimp to provide merchants with a new way to help them gain more traffic and drive user demand through email marketing, thereby helping merchants increase their holiday sales.

MailChimp is a free email sending tool. Registered users can send 12,000 emails per month for free to 2,000 recipients. Of course, if your number of members and monthly email volume exceed the above standards, you can use the paid version. Depending on the service content, the paid version costs start at US$10 per month and US$199 per month respectively.

By using the email marketing platform MailChimp, sellers can design email templates, send mass emails, manage user lists, update email mailing lists, etc. according to their own needs.

After the two platforms cooperate, existing and new users of Shopify and MailChimp will be able to eliminate the need for third-party tools and manual data transfer by directly connecting their accounts. Sellers can also send emails for product marketing directly through buyers' purchasing accounts, which greatly improves the communication efficiency between sellers and buyers.

Shopify platform merchants will also be able to combine their purchasing and marketing data capabilities to leverage customer demand data from email marketing to help drive conversions, increase revenue, and reach more customers.

Since foreigners mostly communicate via email in their daily life and work, email promotion is one of the most important marketing methods in foreign countries. Therefore, in addition to daily social media traffic, free email marketing is also worth a try for independent website sellers. Frequently send customers some of the company's latest product information, there will always be one that can impress them.
