Wix launches no-code app builder for $200 a month

Wix is an Israeli SaaS web site building tool platform headquartered in Tel Aviv with more than 200 million registered users worldwide.

Wix is known for its ease of use , allowing users to build a beautifully designed, feature-rich website by simply dragging and dropping. Now, the platform allows users to create customized mobile apps without any coding skills .

Native mobile apps can help businesses close more sales

Wix cited internal data from its website, noting that businesses with native mobile apps saw an average 162% increase in sales compared to businesses without them.

Wix also said that customers expect more interaction and engagement on mobile devices, with internal data from April showing that about 70% of its enterprise customers conduct business activities through mobile apps.

“This tool is a great addition to Wix’s offerings, giving businesses another medium to build their brand. We’re excited to provide businesses and service providers of any type with the native mobile apps they need to enhance their customer experience, help clients grow their business and compete with other brands.”

After being tested by hundreds of users, Wix-branded apps are now available to all , and customers who sign up during the pre-sale will receive 50% off their fees for life.

Now, businesses can customize the icons, layouts, and content of their apps, including product pages, booking services, forums and groups, chat features, blogs, push notifications, and more. Wix will automatically update users' apps to ensure they are compatible with the latest versions of iOS and Android. The company said it will launch more expandable customization features in the future.

According to the editor, the service charges $200 per month. In addition, users need to pay an annual fee of $99 to list their apps on the App Store, and a one-time fee of $25 to list them on the Google Play Store.

Many people may think it’s a bit expensive, but Wix has also proved with data that native mobile applications can help companies achieve more sales. And for users who already use Wix website services , the application builder can automatically integrate the content in their website , making the operation process simpler and more convenient .

We believe that Wix will provide users with a more unique brand experience by helping companies customize services such as websites, domain names, and local applications.
