Development History

-In January 1999, Shenzhen Wandeshi Industrial Development Co., Ltd. was established.

-In March 1999, the first mini multi-channel home theater product was launched.

-In May 2000, the “Dream Of Smart Sound” brand – DOSS – was born.

-In 2001, DOSS officially owned its first production plant and first production line.

-In March 2002, it was the first company in China to launch a mini 5.1-channel home theater sound system made of innovative materials - plastic and metal, which set off a trend in the industry.

-In May 2002, the company officially entered the international market and started product production and R&D cooperation with major audio brands in Japan and South Korea.

-In 2003, DOSS launched full-scale cooperation with international audio giants such as Japan, the United States, and South Korea, and successfully entered the European market.

-In 2004, DOSS successfully entered the high-end market in Europe and the United States and became the R&D and production partner of mainstream digital brands in Europe and the United States.

-In 2005, it became the only Chinese iPod digital audio company officially authorized by Apple Inc.

-In 2006, we started to cooperate with international retail giants and mainstream suppliers, and further expanded the European, Australian and Japanese markets.

-In 2007, DOSS brand products entered high-end digital stores in the UK, France, Germany, and Northern Europe.

-In 2008, the domestic market brand strategy was launched and DOSS officially returned to China.

-In 2009, DOSS established the DOSS Audio Innovation and R&D Center in Singapore; in the same year, DOSS Audio formed partnerships with internationally and domestically renowned consumer electronics brands: Lenovo, Sony, Philips, etc.

-On April 8, 2014, DOSS released its first mobile gaming speaker, the ASHIMO X1, and also released the "Angel Eyes" Bluetooth speaker paired with a wearable bracelet, incorporating innovative elements into the audio industry.

-In 2015, DOSS and Himalaya jointly developed the DOSS Tingba smart speaker.

-In 2016, DOSS became the first third-party brand in China to support Alexa intelligent voice service, and made its mark on Amazon in the United States, firmly ranking among the top three Bluetooth speakers.

-In 2017, DOSS started a strategic cooperation with Baidu's DuerOS artificial intelligence system, and successively launched several DOSS Xiaodu smart speakers, with differentiated positioning, focusing on good sound quality and portability, aiming to find new application space outside the giants.

-In 2018, after a year of technical research, DOSS launched the industry's first outdoor AI speaker product.

-In 2019, it was ranked in the top 10 of the "2018 China Smart Speaker Brand Ranking" released by iiMedia Ranking.
