Temu's "One Cut, One Cut" model is popular abroad! Users are crazy about the invitation code

Everyone must be familiar with Temu. Since its launch in September 2022, there has been a lot of controversy about this e- commerce platform. Some people think it is a scam, while others like the products they bought from Temu .

However, as an online shopping platform, Temu has indeed captured the hearts of many Western consumers with its extremely low prices and massive products.

According to foreign media reports, a large number of referral codes shared by Temu users have appeared on TikTok recently to attract others to enter their own referral codes to get rewards.

It is understood that in order to further promote its own website, Temu adopted a model similar to the domestic "Kan Yi Dao" model, hoping that users would promote it spontaneously.

Temu users can generate a referral code or referral link, which they can recommend to relatives and friends, or post on major social media platforms. If someone downloads Temu through this referral code, the referrer will receive points rewards or free gifts.

In addition, the points earned can be used for consumption on the platform or for cash withdrawal. Under the temptation of money, Western consumers could not resist the temptation and joined the ranks of forwarding referral codes.

Over time, this marketing model has benefited many people, and of course Temu has also received a lot of free publicity.

However, recently, the dissemination of Temu referral codes on social media platforms has begun to be a bit strange. Some netizens revealed that some users even posted some false content in order to attract more people to use their referral codes.

It is reported that someone found such content on platforms such as TikTok. The publisher claimed that indecent photos of a certain celebrity had been leaked and that they could be viewed by simply downloading Temu and entering the invitation code.

Although this scam is very crude, many people still fall for it because it doesn't cost anything to give it a try.

As a slew of these Temu referral scams have been popping up over the past few weeks , other TikTok users have begun to take notice and create videos to boycott them.

At present, this crazy behavior has gradually subsided, and the platform may subsequently introduce regulations to optimize the sharing rules of invitation codes.
