Average daily visitors: 1.65 million! SHEIN is popular in France

According to data released by the French E-Commerce Federation ( Fevad ) , in the first quarter of this year, among the top 20 most visited portals in France, Vinted and S HEIN both rose in the rankings , while Amazon maintained its leading position .

 

The first place is still the American website Amazon , with an average monthly unique visitor volume of 3.696 million and an average daily unique visitor volume of more than 8.3 million. As in the fourth quarter of 2022, Amazon maintained a clear lead over the second-ranked LeBonCoin ( 28.05 million ) and the third-ranked Cdiscount ( 17.46 million ) .

 

Vinted , a website dedicated to second-hand goods trading, rose from No. 5 to No. 4, with an average of 16.94 million unique visitors per month . Most importantly, the average daily unique visitors of this website dedicated to second-hand goods trading were only second to Amazon, which ranked first, and LeBonCoin , which ranked second , reaching 5.15 million.


 

Aliexpress , which originated in China , maintained its 9th position, with an average of 13.01 million unique visitors per month and 2.4 million unique visitors per day.

 

S HEIN, another of the four small dragons going global, jumped to 11th place, with an average monthly unique visitor volume of 10.62 million. Its average daily unique visitor volume reached over 1.65 million, ranking 7th.

 

Rakuten dropped one place to 12th place, with an average of 10.37 million unique visitors per month and 960,000 unique visitors per day. Veepee dropped two places to 16th place, with an average of 8.98 million unique visitors per month and 1.65 million unique visitors per day.

 

Following closely behind is Décathlon, which still ranks 17th with an average of 853,000 monthly unique visitors and 628,000 daily unique visitors . Next is eBay , which ranks 18th with an average of 8.5 million monthly unique visitors and 834,000 daily unique visitors , rising two places .

 

Fevad pointed out that the French spent 39.2 billion euros on online shopping in the first quarter of this year, an increase of 20.2% compared with the first quarter of 2022.

 

This growth was driven by online services. Fevad also mentioned that another notable feature of this list is that the tourism industry has shown its vitality. Booking 's ranking rose by two places to 6th place; SNCF Connect has also risen to 13th place ; AirBnB has also returned to the list, rising directly to 14th place.
