On the morning of November 19, Amazon's global logistics team announced that it would officially open the Amazon China Yiwu Service Center and establish Amazon China's first industrial belt collection and operation center in Yiwu. Amazon's establishment of the first industrial belt collection and operation center in Yiwu not only marks a new stage in the cooperation between Yiwu and Amazon, but also demonstrates Amazon China's determination to provide better services to domestic cross-border e-commerce sellers.
Earlier, Amazon's global logistics team appeared at the China International Import Expo and held an exhibition with the theme of "Meeting the World in a Box" in the clothing trade exhibition area . This time, Amazon's global logistics team not only announced that China's first industrial belt collection and operation center was located in Yiwu, but also signed a strategic partnership with Yiwu International Land Port E-commerce Mall, which means that Amazon's cooperation with China will enter a new stage.
Yi Yun, President of Amazon Logistics China, said, "Last year, with the support of the Yiwu Market Development Committee, we visited and inspected local companies in Yiwu. Everyone had a personal experience of the rapid development of cross-border e-commerce and was very confident in Yiwu's local business environment. In order to better serve Yiwu's cross-border e-commerce companies and help everyone better cope with the challenges of cross-border logistics under the epidemic, the Amazon Global Logistics Team set up a service center in Yiwu International Land Port E-commerce City and established our first industrial belt collection and operation center in China. We hope to help the cross-border logistics of sellers, help sellers turn challenges into opportunities, and become a long-term partner of seller friends."
It is understood that the Amazon Yiwu Collection Center is located in Yiwu International Land Port Logistics Park (Prologis Yiwu Logistics Park). The Amazon Yiwu warehouse, which covers an area of 3,000 square meters, has been put into trial operation in September and has provided collection services to more than 20 local e-commerce companies. In addition, it is worth mentioning that according to data provided by Yiwu Land Port Group, from November 1 to November 4, the cumulative transaction volume of cross-border e-commerce imports (1210) of Yiwu Bonded Logistics Center reached 1.43 million orders, with a peak of 720,000 orders per day; from November 1 to November 11, the cumulative transaction volume of cross-border e-commerce imports (1210) of Yiwu Bonded Logistics Center reached 2.2 million orders.
