Not authentic! Many Amazon sellers claim that their pictures were stolen by Temu peers

After spending nearly two and a half years, Dahua finally made its products rank among the top in the category. To this end, Dahua invested countless advertising fees and even sent its products to a Swiss testing agency for certification.

However, when Dahua was browsing Temu recently, he accidentally found two listings with pictures that looked exactly like his own products. In addition to the pictures, even the keywords in the product descriptions were exactly the same.

Dahua said: "I took and edited all these pictures myself. I also studied photography and Photoshop for a long time. I have used many different pictures and keywords, and the current pictures and keywords have the highest conversion rate."

After investigation, it was found that the product pictures on the Temu platform were basically the same as Dahua's products, and even had the testing certification Dahua obtained from Switzerland on them. What's even more infuriating is that the price of this product on Temu is about 30% cheaper than Dahua.

In the past few months, Dahua's sales have dropped by about 20%. Although he is not sure whether it is caused by Temu's "competing products", there must be some connection between the two.

In fact, Dahua's experience is not an isolated case. Many domestic sellers have reported that they have encountered similar things. They said that they have filed complaints with the Temu platform, but the complaints were unsuccessful.

On domestic social platforms, many sellers have reported that their product images have been stolen by Temu sellers, and suggested that Amazon sellers search for their products on Temu to see if there are any stolen images.

A blogger named "Mr. Ming" wrote: "Recently, I found a product on Temu that is the same as mine, but his price is much lower and he completely copied my product description."

Mr. Ming said he had reported the issue to Amazon customer service, claiming it infringed his intellectual property rights.

After in-depth investigation, it was found that in the discussion group of Temu sellers, a strategy can often be seen, that is, to find various hot-selling products in Amazon's best-selling list, and then go to suppliers to see if they can wholesale the same products at a low price, and finally move the products directly to Temu.

When faced with this kind of problem, most sellers whose images have been stolen do not have any good solution. Most people find it very troublesome to contact Temu to complain, so they can only hope that Amazon will help them protect their rights.
